  • Where are your service areas?

    We service most of Southwestern Ontario and The Golden Horseshoe, with a primary focus around the greater areas of Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Hamilton, Brantford, Oakville, Burlington, and the Niagara Region. If you are located east and north of the GTA, need a larger remote delivery, or have project-based short-term sites, contact us so we can customize a solution that meets regulatory and your requirements.

  • What fuels can be delivered?

    We provide our customers with high-quality fuels, that meet or exceed Canadian standards, such as clear and dyed diesel, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), and gasoline. Certain conditions apply, so please contact us to request a quote so we can customize a solution that meets requirements.

  • Is Transit Petroleum’s programs only for large operations?

    Our cardlock and delivered fuel is available any sized customer which is a company or organization that is a commercially registered or a government operation. Certain conditions apply, so contact us or request a quote so we can customize a solution that meets regulatory and your requirements.

  • What are the benefits of using Transit Petroleum for my fuel requirements?

    Transit Petroleum has been a trusted source for quality petroleum products in Ontario since 1972. Before any fuel is provided, our sales team will conduct a site visit to fully understand the complexity of your business requirements. We will then make recommendations on how to ensure the most efficient methods of providing fuel. These recommendations will be based on how to minimize the downtime of equipment, reduce employee time filling equipment, minimize the number of deliveries required, and minimize the amount of administration required to process fuel receipts and invoices.

  • How do I set-up an account with Transit Petroleum?

    Before any fuel is provided, our sales team will conduct a site visit to fully understand the complexity of your business requirements. We will then make recommendations on how to ensure the most efficient methods of providing fuel. Once feedback is provided and agreed to by both parties, we will process your credit application, and when approved a fueling agreement can begin, usually within days.   • How do your cardlocks work?

    Our multiple locations provide easy and safe access, while providing contingency for unexpected refueling such as overtime runs or rental/broken vehicles added to fleet in a busy day. Save time and avoid frustration when you take advantage of our Card Lock fuel services network located throughout Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Ayr, Guelph & Stoney Creek. Each driver is assigned a secured cardlock card registered to your account. For added control we recommend a secondary cardlock card that is assigned to each corporate vehicle. One operator can fill multiple vehicles providing engancing security and improved tracking.

  • What fuels do you offer at your cardlocks?

About Service

  • Do you offer both tank and direct to equipment fuel delivery services?

    Yes! We can supply all your fuel requirements including: on-road equipment (transport fleets, passenger cars, heavy-duty service vehicles), off-road equipment (on construction sites, infrastructure development, aggregate industry, farm, forestry, mining, rail and marine), fuel tanks (fixed and mobile), generators (fixed and mobile), and home heating fuel and comfort solutions.   • What are your standard tank sizes/options?

    We provide a variety of options for both fixed and mobile locations. Round Steel Tanks are most popular in 1360, 2200, and 4500 litres. We can also accommodate smaller or larger tanks when required! Cube Tanks are available in 474 and 4465 litres, in a Fuel Cube or Transport Cube formats.

  • How do you know when to deliver my fuel?

    We take pride in vendor-managing inventory for our customers using electronic monitoring. You never have to dip the tanks and call when low or running out of fuel - we have pre-set notifications which saves labour time! This means we only deliver when necessary, including larger drops, which is more efficient and can pass savings onto you.   • How much notice do I need to give to get fuel delivered?

    We can begin delivery as soon as you setup your account. Since we vendor-manage the inventory, we can avoid on-demand delivery. However, if unexpected planned increases, or emergency situations arise, we can deliver within hours or the following day, on request.   • Do you provide emergency after hours services?

    We do offer emergency delivery to existing customers who requiring weekend delivery within certain service areas. Certain conditions apply, so contact us or request a quote so we can customize a solution that meets regulatory and your requirements.

Pricing

  • Do your delivery services cost more on weekends and statutory holidays?

    We do offer weekend delivery to existing customers who have an agreement requiring this service. Certain conditions apply, so contact us or request a quote so we can customize a solution that meets regulatory and your requirements.

  • Where can I review my invoices and fuel consumption?

    After fuelling their vehicle, drivers can return the convenient sitekiosk to request a spot receipts for simple tracking and vehicle costing. Transactions download to our office and get invoiced once per week. Weekly billing means that you’ll never be in the dark about current gasoline and fuel costs. All Cardlock invoices are laid out: by vehicle and then shows each driver with time fueled, location, volume, odometer reading, price, with HST broken out from rest. Most of our cardlocks customers prefer to receive their invoices by email at the beginning of each work week. Upon request, physical invoices can be mailed out weekly.
