Transit Petroleum is an independently owned and operated fuel distribution company, headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario. Our collective companies have been active members of many communities in Ontario for over 140 years. Through our fleet of trucks and network of commercial fuel cardlock locations, Transit Petroleum provides businesses with gasoline, heating oil, diesel fuel, diesel exhaust fluid and related unique specialty services.
We are always hiring for roles that play a pivotal role in the growth of our company by developing new business and enhancing our relationships with existing customers. You will be a “down-to-earth,” service-focused, hands-on individual, who is continuously looking for ways to ensure that our growth is sustainable, profitable, and efficient.
Here are some of the skills we’re looking for in our employees:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- Highly organized with very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to represent our company professionally at all times.
- Persistence demonstrated through a highly energetic and motivated attitude.
- Critical thinking skills and ability to “think outside of the box.”
- Experience and/or knowledge of the construction and aggregate industry would be considered an asset.
- Computer acumen with basic mathematical abilities
- Ability to interact with customers and maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times. * Be a self-starter, well organized, and detail oriented
